Last summer, I decided it was about time to kick-start my fitness regime. Having participated in sports throughout school, I suddenly realised how unfit I was. So out went the junk-food and in came the gym membership and a healthier attitude to food and fitness. However, as anyone who has done this knows; it is not as easy as it sounds. Which is why I was pleasantly surprised when my mum introduced me to @MyFitnessPal, a fantastic app which allows you to analyse and track every morsel of food which passes your lips. Although it may sound slightly addictive (and believe me, I did fall into this trap to begin with!) the app is great at showing you what and how much food you are eating every day, which can have some surprising results (I didn’t realise I was such a secret eater.)
So if you are stuck in a cycle of food coma’s and excessive bloating, I would recommend the app as it has dramatically improved the way I view food, to the point now where I am not so reliant on the app, only using it every now and again if I happen to slip up!
Oh… and it’s free, so you literally have nothing to lose!
